Waukesha school district cancels classes after deadly attack on Christmas parade





This Sunday the Waukesha district canceled classes on Monday, November 22, for students in 4K to 12th grade due to the terrible accident that ended in tragedy after the Christmas parade.
 
Several dead, more than 20 injured minors were victims of this accident, so there is a person in custody.
 
Superintendent Dr. James Sebert and Associate Superintendent Dr. Joe Koch read the following letter to parents: “Additionally, the district will have additional counselors during the school day in all buildings for all students who may need support services. ”.
"Our thoughts are with all those who have been affected, who witnessed the event and with our entire community," they added.

This Monday it is evaluated whether classes will resume on Tuesday.
