Threats of storms and strong winds Monday in Chicago

Chicago is under storm threat along with winds, hail and tornado formation on Monday.

The wind gusts that could be experienced are up to 60 miles per hour due to the passage of storms during the afternoon and night of this Monday, as reported by the National Weather Service.

In the morning, rains and storms are expected, which will increase in intensity throughout the day.

A weather service advisory announced that "Some severe storms are possible, especially in the late afternoon to early evening, and can produce damaging winds, hail and even isolated tornadoes."
