They ask for annulment of eight related murder convictions of Reynaldo Guevara

Relatives of people unjustly convicted met this Tuesday inside the courts with their faces printed on T-shirts to listen to each case.

Cook County State's Attorney Kim Foxx said rebuilding community trust requires correcting an injustice when it is found.

Therefore, the annulment of 8 murder convictions which are linked to former Chicago Police detective Raynaldo Guevara by the office of prosecutors Kim Foxx is being requested.

Guevara has been accused of routinely fabricating false evidence as well as framing innocent people, which is why Foxx includes in his petition to the judges the acquittal of 8 people linked to the case.
