The United States provided intelligence that helped Ukraine attack the Russian warship Moskva

Last March, the United States assisted Ukraine with anti-ship missiles when it successfully attacked Russia's prized warship.
However, the United States was not clear, nor was it involved that Ukraine would move to attack the ship.
Pentagon press secretary John Kirby made a statement saying that they did not provide Ukraine with specific target information about the attack on the ship, as well as on the operation that took place. They had no prior knowledge about Ukraine's intentions to attack. He added that Ukraine has its own intelligence capability in tracking and targeting Russian warships as it was in this case.
The ship was hit by two Ukrainian missiles on April 14, sinking it and dealing the Russian army a major blow.
