Maria Garcia

Paralegal

Maria was born and raised in the Little Village neighborhood in Chicago. Maria attended Farragut Career Academy (high school) in Chicago and graduated in June of 1999. Maria later attended Richard J. Daley College in Chicago, Illinois and graduated with an Associate’s Degree in Science in May of 2003. Maria is the longest serving employee at the office having started in September of 2001. Maria is fluent in both English and Spanish. Maria has one son and works hard to balance working with our clients and maintaining a great home for her family.
Alma Aidee Peza

Alma Aidee Peza

Legal Assistant

Born in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Alma studied to become a professional technician in Informatics. In 2006, she graduated as a Civil Aviation Professional, exercising this career for 10 years in different and important Mexican Airlines. Her career required traveling and dealing with different types of people, providing a personalized service and above all, being security personnel on board providing first aid and being qualified for all types of emergencies. Alma recently moved to Chicago where she enjoys working with the Latino community and helping them resolve their problems. In her free time, she enjoys traveling and seeing new places, reading, spending time with her husband and going out with family and friends, as well as herbal medicine and practicing yoga.

Julieta Rovira

Julieta Rovira

Born in the Port of Acapulco Guerrero Mexico, she graduated from the Faculty of Law at the National Autonomous University of Mexico in Mexico City, with a Pre-Specialty in Administrative Law and a Diploma in Administrative Law. He did professional practices in the Federal Court of Conciliation and Arbitration of the City of Mexico, after his practices he worked in that same Court. She is currently studying English to be 100% Bilingual. He really likes dealing with people and enjoys being able to help. In her spare time Julieta reads books on Psychology and loves spending time with her family, especially her 3-year-old daughter.

Diana Ojeda

Diana Ojeda

Diana attended Morton East High School and graduated in 2011. She continued her education at Morton College. She then decided to attend Paul Mitchell School of Cosmetology to pursue her love of Cosmetology. Diana wants to attend a culinary school in the future. Diana is fluent in Spanish and English. She has two children to whom she dedicates all her time after work hours. In addition to spending time with her children, she enjoys traveling, spending time with family, and cooking new recipes. Diana attended Morton East High School and graduated in 2011. She continued her education at Morton College. She then decided to attend Paul Mitchell School of Cosmetology to pursue her love of Cosmetology.

Rebecca Alvarez-Ramos

Rebecca is a graduate from World Language High School in Little Village Lawndale High School. She graduated in the top ten of her class with honors and was secretary of her school’s National Honors Society. In the fall, she will be attending The University of Chicago and will major in Sociology with a minor in Creative Writing and Latino Studies. Rebecca is fluent in both English and Spanish and received The Seal of Biliteracy. She started at our firm in 2015. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, writing, and watching soccer with her dad.

Legal Assistant

Marveya is a graduate from World Language High School in Little Village Lawndale High School. She graduated in the top ten of her class with honors, was valedictorian for her graduating class and was part of her school’s National Honors Society. In the fall, she will be attending The University of Illinois at Chicago and will major in Nursing. Marveya is fluent in both English and Spanish and received The Seal of Biliteracy. She started at our firm in 2016. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family.

Jared Epstein

Jared Epstein

Jared is Jack and Dena’s eldest son.  He was born in Chicago at Northwestern University Hospital. Jared attended Glenbrook North High School and graduated in 2015.  In high school, Jared played on the baseball and hockey teams, winning the Illinois State High School Hockey Championship. Jared now studies at the University of Illinois and is majoring in Biology. Jared has worked in the office since his early years in high school and recently worked as a clerk for the Honorable Kay Hanlon, a judge in the Circuit Court of Cook County. Jared is considering law school and may eventually follow in his mother and father’s footsteps and work to help people with their workers’ compensation and serious criminal cases. Although Jared decided against continuing his hockey career in college, he still loves playing with his former high school hockey teammates on their summer men’s league team.

Dustin Epstein

Dustin Epstein

Dustin is Jack and Dena’s second son.  He was born in Chicago at Northwestern University Hospital. Dustin attended Glenbrook North High School and graduated in 2016. In high school, Dustin played hockey and was an excellent math and science student. Dustin now attends the University of Illinois and is majoring in Chemistry. Although Dustin does not aspire to be an attorney, he enjoys helping clients at the firm. Dustin uses his exceptional math skills to assist the attorneys with complicated wage loss calculations and future medical cost projections.  Dustin still loves to play hockey in his spare time and continues to excel in school, with plans to study postgraduate in Chemistry.

Arenthia Mosso

Arenthia Mosso

Arenthia attended Cristo Rey Jesuit High School in Pilsen and graduated in 2016. She continued her education at the Benedictine University and graduated with high honors, earning her bachelor’s degree in Political Science in May 2020. At the Benedictine University, Arenthia was involved in various organizations, including the United Nations Model and the Illinois Model of Government, where he executed his passion for public speaking and politics. Arenthia speaks Spanish and English fluently. He likes to help the Latino community especially in the field of law and advocate for their rights. Arenthia plans to continue her education by going to Law School and earning her J.D. to become a lawyer. In her free time, she enjoys reading, staying organized, and spending time with her family.

Leslie Vizuet

Leslie Vizuet

Leslie Vizuet. He was born and raised in Waukegan, Illinois, which is a small suburb full of hope and aspirations. For high school she went to Cristo Rey St. Martin, where she learned many things, like working in companies and showing GRIT (never give). Leslie graduated from Cristo Rey with high honors and received special recognition from my corporate work study. Leslie is currently attending the University of Illinois at Chicago, where she is pursuing her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, Latin America and Latin Studies with a minor in professional Spanish while pursuing a law degree. She hopes that one day she will apply to law school to become an immigration attorney. Meanwhile, Leslie likes to exercise, paint, and read; as well as to spend time with your family.

Jocelyn Arredondo

Jocelyn Arredondo

Jocelyn was born in Aurora, Illinois and graduated from Plainfield North High School with honors and as President of the Spanish Honor Society. He currently studies at the University of Illinois at Chicago, with a major in Criminology, Law and Justice, with a major in Spanish and Philosophy. Jocelyn started at our firm in 2019 and she loves helping our clients prepare for the trial. In his spare time, he enjoys running, playing beach volleyball, and playing poker with his family.

Aracelli Andrade

Aracelli Andrade

She comes to the United States when she was 6 years old. Living her entire life on the north side of Chicago, Araceli graduated from the Roberto Clemente Academy in 2001. She is fluent in English and Spanish. She loves helping people in all aspects. He moved to Little Village in 2010 when he got married. Araceli has 2 wonderful children, who are 8 and 6 years old. His focus is family. She loves spending time with her family and cooking for them. He has been working at the firm since November 2018.

Mayra Hurtado

Mayra Hurtado

Mayra is from the city of Blue Island and is currently a student at the University of Illinois at Chicago. She is a third-year student majoring in law with a minor in Spanish with a minor in political science and public policy. Mayra speaks English and Spanish fluently. He started at our firm in 2019. In his spare time, he enjoys reading, writing, and playing soccer.
