Regions of Spain retirn to curfew and restrictions due to Covid-19

Due to the highest Covid-19 incidence rate in the country, Catalonia returns to curfew from 1 to 6 am. Meetings may be of up to 10 people and masks at night venues.

Restaurants and bars must close at 00:30 hrs, and diners must wear mandatory masks if they are not drinking or eating. In cultural events the public must remain seated, not dance and bring the mask. In night places such as terraces, groups must be of 10 people maximum

Likewise, beach tourist spots such as Barcelona, ​​Sitges, Salou and Lloret de Mar, along with 158 other municipalities will have restrictions.

"The decision is difficult but essential" and "he hopes to reverse it as soon as the pandemic allows it," said Pere Aragonés, president of the Generalitat.
