Mexico and Puerto Rico repeat fatalities five years later

A threat from nature was experienced by Mexico and Puerto Rico this week, which they experienced five years ago on these same dates.

Mexico was shaken this Monday, September 19, by a strong earthquake shaking the earth under the feet of the inhabitants, making a reminder of its history with others registered on the same date.

Puerto Rico, with Hurricane Fiona category 1, which devastated everything in its path, leaving heavy rains and floods in 2017 Hurricane Maria from which many have not yet recovered. Today they find themselves dealing with Fiona becoming a Category 3.

Both the earthquake in Mexico City and the hurricane in Puerto Rico are not comparable in terms of deaths, losses and material damage. However the prevailing sense of loss, both countries can hardly be explained.
