The European Parliament approved by a wide margin on Wednesday morning the Covid Digital Certificate for travel within the European Union. The Covid Digital Certificate for travel within the European Union was approved by the European Parliament this Wednesday. This one had 574 favorable votes against 72, having 43 abstentions. This certificate shows that a person has already been vaccinated against Covid-19 giving a negative result in the virus test or has been fully recovered. The format will be available digitally or on paper, it is free, secure and accessible to all. All European Union countries will have access to it from July 1. Countries such as Switzerland, Iceland, Norway, are in the process of being able to use this certificate. Denmark, Germany and Greece are some of the countries that have already started issuing the digital pass.
